As I have said before, I love pesto! I can eat it with a spoon, and just adore it. So I when I wanted to make turkey meatballs with my spaghetti , this popped into my head , and decided to go with it! I am so glad I did because the meatballs were so flavorful and delicious! Too bad this picture is awful… I swear my food photography skills are just horrendous!
1 package ground turkey
3 heaping spoonfuls of pesto ( jarred or homemade)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 dash worceshire sauce
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 cup panko/italian bread crumb mix
handful parsley chopped
salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients until incorporated. In saute pan place a very small amount of OO in pan and add meatballs. Brown on all sides and add marinara sauce. Reduce heat and cover until bubbly and meatballs are cooked throughout.
