Since moving back to the ‘Burgh – we have missed a few things back in Philly. One of course , our fabulous friends :), and 2nd – our beloved Pinocchio Pizza! We have found replacements to most of our favorite restaurants, but not this pizza…. yet! So , I decided to make it! And it was very close surprisingly! I wouldn’t necessarily call this a recipe, just a method , considering I used JARRED pizza sauce – oh the horror! LOL
Package of Trader Joes Pizza Dough – set out for 30 minutes
1 block of sharp provolone grated ( don’t try to eat it all before putting it on the pizza!! )
Pizza Sauce – whatever is your fave , we used Contadina
Roll out dough into preferred shape. Place cheese FIRST on dough, then seasoning, then sauce. Bake for about 20 minutes on 425. The sharpness of the cheese makes the pizza taste sooo good! Also pictured are the gorgeous roses Mike got me for V-day!
