I know I always say it – but how great is trader joes?  Without them , my whole meal on tuesday would be non-existant.  They have great indian and curry sauces.  The one I used yesterday was the Korma sauce, but I LOVE their Masala.  This one was super easy , perfect for a super stressful day!

1 package of chicken tenders ( cubed )

1 cup of basmati rice

2 pieces of garlic naan ( indian bread )

Garlic

Tumeric, Curry powder, Onion Powder, S & P to coat chicken

Handful of Cilantro chopped

Saute chicken cubes until cooked through.  Boil 1 cup water and 1 cup of chicken broth until it boils.  Stir in 1 cup basmati brown rice and simmer with lid on for about 45 minutes.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees for naan, then cook for about 10 minutes.  Stir in Trader Joe’s Korma sauce to the chicken.  Cover and simmer.  Add cilantro at the end – Voila!  Indian takeout without the wait!
